ARRRRRRGH! :grrrrrr: Had to turn in the Silverado. It had a relatively trouble free 100k miles on it but company policy requires retiring vehicles at 100k. The bad news is they gave me a F150 to replace the Chevy. Oh well it was nice while I had it. At least they let me take it home every night and they pay for the fuel and maintenance.

Well, sounds like you don't have a lot of room to complain about that one, but I'd be disappointed too. I actually turned down a job once because they were going to make the field guys drive compact regular cab pickups like Ford Rangers ... I don't fit in a Ford Ranger physically.

not to send this thread off-topic, but I didn't realize how tall you are until I looked at your pics from the outing at the Arbuckle Wilderness area. I just noticed that you're taller than the small SUVs in the background. WOW

With the cost associated with driving these days, even the F150 sounds like a good deal! Good luck!

Ha Ha welcome to the Ford work vehicle club. I'm glad you could join me
Mine is an absolute P.O.S. I wouldn't own a Ford on my own if it was the last vehicle on the road....I'd walk.
