How do you imbed pictures in a thread instead of just attaching them as thumbnails?? I'm pretty computer savvy, but not when it comes to HTML and all that jazz. Thanks!

Simple! It's as easy as uploading your photos to Photobucket.com and then copying the image code from your photo hosted on that site, and paste it in your post here like this...

Or this...

As soon as the next version of this system is stable, all users will have their own personal photo album tied to their account and it will resize and do everything for you automatically. Then it's easy to upload, and share photos of your rides.

Click on your own username, you can do it at the top where it says Member Panel :: Welcome, Steve. That will take you to your own User Profile Page.

Then create an album and add/upload photos to it. Copy the URL (http://www.gmtruckclub.com.../photo .jpg) and paste that URL into a message using the IMG button (The yellow toolbar button that looks like a mountain with the sun). That's it.

A point to consider: If you post large full size images, then you're slowing down the thread's loading for every one. That's why thumbnails were invented, they load much faster and if someone is really interested they can click for a big pic.
For this forum, I've done it both ways. Stephanie, IMHO, it's easier to use an external host than use the this forum as a host. I use ImageShack (http://imageshack.us/), but they're all pretty much the same. First, put the image you want where it's easy to find on your computer. Go to the host (you don't need to log in or give them your eMail), select the image type, click browse, and following the uploading instructions, navigate to open your image and click the "host it" button. The host will digest your image and then give you several options. Each with it own URL.
When you're composing your posting, click "insert image" (the yellow box with the mountain) and it will give you a window to paste the URL of you image. Here's where you have your options... try pasting each of the different URLs from your image host and then hit preview. If it doesn't work, just remove the link and try another. You'll quickly learn what works and what doesn't from your selected host.
Hope this helps.
