1997 C/K Blower Motor

Ok I have been having issues with my blower motor. No matter what setting I have my blower motor on it will go from off to high intermittenly, I talked to some others on the net and they suggested my blower motor resistor, so I went and changed it. now my problem is low to high intermittenly on it's own and I have no control of the switch the only things lift I can think of is the switch itself, someone said there was a relay in there and I am thinking it might be the one next to the blower resistor or the blower motor itself any one have any ideas.
