Im looking at getting a programmer for my 2001 silverado 4.8 to try to get better gas mileage and a little more horsepower. I was wondering if anyone has tried these and how much better mpg they got. Also i was wondering about which one to get for quality and ease of use. Thanks.

i have the exact same truck i have the hypertech power programmer and i am pleased with it it helps out a little with gas and performance i am getn abt 18 to 19 mpg on the highway at 80mph. hypertech also has the new max energy programmer which is also good because you can download updates to your programmer from your computer
