Hmm...this morning as I was pulling in to the parking lot at work, I noticed the seatbelt & airbag warning lamps were on, and the transmission gear indicator displayed:
"PRND321" (reverse), even though the truck was actually in "Drive"
I shut the engine off and on again, and this time the transmission indicator didn't display which gear it was on ("PRND321") (I shifted though the gears but there was no "__" indicator). The airbag and seatbelt warning lights were still on.
So what I did this time was shut the truck off again, take the key out, open and shut the door (so that the radio would shut off as well). Then turned it on again. This time everything was back to normal.
I've set up an appointment to take the truck in to the dealer to get checked out, but I realize it might not do this little malfunction while there, I thought perhaps someone here might have an idea of what's going on.
