Guys,
I want to install 33X12.50X20 mud tires in my 2008 Chevy Silverado 4X4 regular cab, my question is:
How much do I need to lift it ?
I don't really want it to be very tall just enough to acommodate the 33" tires, I was thinking that maybe a 2.5" front leveling kit, but I don't know.
Please advise!

my dad just put a 4inch on his 08 extended cab by pure performance and they said he could fit 35s with a lil trimming

I think if you did the leveling kit you would have minimal if any rubbing.

I don't really know the fender design of the 2008 but I would gues that the 2.5' lift would work. The only problem I could see with that is how wide the tires are. You may not get vertical rubbing on the fender wells but you might get rubbing on trac bars or something else. This makes it so you cant turn the wheels all the way because they hit trac and stabilizing bars. I had this problem with my 1979 Bronco when I put 12.5' wide tires on it. But all you need is a couple spacers from good old JCWhitney and you should be alright. Thats what I would look at the most. Hope this helps!

I think you will be o.k. with the leveling kit. I have one on my 05 chevy and I run 315/70/17bfgs that bfg claims are 34.8 inches. I also have an add a leaf in the back.

Welcome to the site Raul! You should be able to fit those 33's with a leveing kit. A 4" suspension lift would be better (but more expensive).
