I spent some time in California - the summer of 1995 for example. Been back out there in 97 for a couple of days. couple of layovers. 05 (San Fran) and 06 (San Diego) two trips with work.

I kind of drive by you on the way out to hunt the Salton Sea or on trips to Havasu - but I stay on the CA side. Good campgrounds that have plenty of room for 30+ foot trailers. Sometimes I hut the areas 15 miles south west from you and at a private ranch in Redlands.

cool to hear, my wife works in Redlands. Not a whole lot to do out here and pretty quiet for the most part.

I grew up in Calif. in the 70's, mostly around Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. In the eighties and early nineties I was stationed in Alameda, Pt. Mugu, Miramar, and North Island. Been back a few times since but usually not for long, I joined the military to get away from that place.

I wanna do a get together too, I just need to know a minimum of 2 weeks before it happens so I can try to get the time off from work. My job kinda sucks. I don't have a set schedule so I get my days off whenever they feel like thowing one at me. :grrrrrr: To make it short I have no life outside of work.
