I want to convert my front auto locking hubs to manual locking. I have had nothing but problems with the hubs due to the due auto locking since nobody i know knows how to work on them. There is a noise coming from my left one that sounds like when you put a baseball card in the spokes of a bike, my friend thinks its a bearing and I wanna make my front hubs simple to work on not complex with this auto locking B.S. I know NOTHING about the hubs at all. What do I need to buy to convert them to manual? My truck is a 1987 GMC V1500 Pick-up. Any help would be great.
