What do you consider a 'truck'? Does a Suburban count? What about if it's lifted? Big tires? Are trucks only those vehicle with a bed?

I feel weird saying "Well, let me go hook up the trailer to the SUV and we'll get going" when referring to the Suburban... to me it's more of a truck.

What say you? Any input?

IN my opinion if it is on a truck platform it is a truck. S-10 blazer isnt a truck it is a blazer. 1500 up i consider a truck.

According to Wilipedia; "A truck (American English) or lorry (British English) is a motor vehicle commonly used for carrying goods and materials."
So many vehicles could fall underthat.
