I still can't get the panels off around the back speakers. Any suggestions?

I had a 93 xtended cab and I think they were put together the same way. If this is the case and you haven't already you are going to have to take off the rear panel along the back window just above the seat. But take caution with that year truck the plastic might be a little brittle. I also had to pull up the door sills and remove the back seat to get to some screws that were hidden inside of the pocket compartment. I took out the little tubs and they had screws stuffed way in the back. Thats why I sold my truck with the $180.00 set of seperates because it was a ROYAL PAin to get to them. I have seen some people just cut the plastic trim out enuff to getto the screws and then replace the entire speaker with a 6 x 9 you might want to try that but for I'm all about the stock look on the inside but that is one option.

I would just cut the panel around the speaker and then top mount new speakers with grills, I am guessing in xcab they are 4x6 or 4x10 you do it this way you can drop in 6x9 no problem
