Noisy brakes

Whats with the brake squeal with the new trucks? When cold my 09 Sierra has that embarrassing squeal when the brakes are applied.Its ok when driven a few miles.Is there a different brake shoe or pad I can try?Its been like this since new.

ceramic brake pads. replace with g'ol semimetallics and be well, if you can live with black dust on the rims.
