Good Morning from Shreveport, LA!
I am researching exhaust systems for my 08 Silverado and wanted some input from those in the know. I am looking for a deep rumble more so than a loud popping. I want something that you can feel when you get on the gas but doesn't wake up the neighbors while cruising down the street. I've have glass packs on a 350 and flowmasters on a small 8. That is pretty much the extent of my knowledge in this field. Any suggestions or set ups to stay away from?
Also, with the AFM system on the 08's, it would stand to reason that when the 4 cylinder mode kicked in, it would change the sound. How drastic is the difference? Does is sound like a pissed off bubble bee?
Oh, and from a newb, this club is the best source of information that I've found out there. Those of you that maintain and contribute heavily, keep it up. Doing a great!
