Hey everyone!

Picking up a 99 Chevy Suburban K1500 LS next week, once I get my tax return ;)

Will post the different things I do on her once I get her.

$2100 for her... have a couple of things to do... have to fix the linkage on the wipers and O2 sensor...

Welcome to the forum! That burb looks to be in pretty good shape, how many miles are on it?

stupid question by the way... what is the difference between the LS LT etc ?

LS is usually pretty basic cloth seats, sometimes no AC, depending on the year no CD player. LT is more the luxury package, Leather/heated seats, cd player (or 6 disc changer) sometimes a rear locker, and probably some other stuff. By the time I got my LT it had 180k on it and not many of the features worked right/at all. haha

Welcome to the site! FWIW, mine is a "Silverado" model and I have no idea what that means either.

thanks for the warm welcome :)

yeah that makes sence... it has cloth seats, but power windows, door locks (have to fix that since they dont work), power seats (on switch on the driver seat is not working) and cloth interior.
No cruise control, but front and rear AC and CD player, even tough though the stereo is going to be replaced with something that has a LCD monitor and RCA in/out so I can plug somethings into it, like my subs :)

Im replacing my 94 Chevy G20 Conversion van with the burban... the engine on the van is on its way out... have a knock in the engine when she is in high RPM but when ever I rev the engine high the knock goes away... we'll see if I just gut the van and sell it for parts, fix it or sell it :)

Thanks for the warm welcome from everyone :)

I picked up the Suburban today, minor steering wheel shake and vibrations.
Went to Autozone to check the check engine light. Came back with O2 sensor, bank 2 sensor 2 and a cat efficiency code... would that be caused by the O2 sensor?
