View Full Version : I got new fog lights and tint.

My original fog lights were missing the lens and the reflectors were all dirty. I found new oem fog lights on ebay for $30 a each. I installed them yesterday evening. I took my truck today to get the front doors tinted to match the privacy glass on the pop out windows. It looks so much better. Here is some pics.

That looks sweet! I always wanted to tint my truck windows but I do a lot of trailering and backing up at night with tints is kind of a pain.

Looking good! Tint in the fronts is on my list of future mods as well. I also bought a replacement foglight like yours for pretty cheap at Autopartswarehouse.com. How did yours fit?

They fit ok. A little snug on the top side. I just didn't expect them to come with the bulbs.

That tint looks very slick. How much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking? Also who did you have do the work? I'm very interested in doing this on my truck!

The tint is 20%. It matches really close to the privacy glass on the pop out windows. 20% is illegal here in Kansas so the tint shop would not give me a receipt but will honor the warranty. It cost $45 plus tax for 35%. I paid extra for the 20%. Total I paid $58.47. I went to a small local shop called AZ Tint and Car Alarms.

I just got my fronts tinted today and I like it ok. I almost wish I would have gone darker. Oh well it cost me 60 even and I think it was worth it for that.
