04 Silverado Performance

What can i do to a 5.3L? Also how hard is it to drop a 8.1L in it? :)

Here is a list of performance upgrades that you can do or have done, that is beyond the normal exhaust, intake, chip, programmer. The only thing I have experience with on this list is the throttle body, and the 300 amp alternator both of which I currently have on my truck. The throttle body is a nice upgrade although it requires additional tuning, and the alternator is a must have for off-road lights or big stereos. Enjoy!!

Ive bee told 8.1 wont match tranny, plus electronics. A 6.0 (LQ9) bolts right in. Diablo Sport will make programmer to tune the trucks computer. Takes about a day to change.
