Have not looked around all too much and I apologize for not doing my own homework but, as many others I'm sure, I have tint on the windows and backing up at night is quite a chore. Things are a little too dark. I'd be MUCH better off with a backup camera.
What I'm wondering is if you happen to have any extra-bright backup lights? '99 Suburban, though I think they are pretty much all the same, in general.
What I'm most likely going to do it set up some driving/offroad/white fog lights in the rear to come on with the backup lights. In the meantime, I figured I'd give the extra bright lights a chance if they happen to have those.
Thanks in advance and, again, thanks for your participation in the GMTC.

Yes Steve,
We carry high powered back lamp bulbs for your rig. Let me find the link in our store and will post it.
In the meantime, we have some Hella/Optilux fog lamps on sale with 50 watt bulbs that you can't beat for the price....especially for this type of applications.
It is the ovals in carbon fiber-

Piaa makes a nice kit #1540. It has two lamps, wiring harness with relay and switch that lets you turn on manually or automaticlly when tranny is put in reverse.

Would rather stick to buying from one of our vendors. :)

We carry the PIAA product too but for the price it might be worth while to pick up bulbs or that Optilux fog kit--it does come with a relay harness that can be activated by the transmission selector when it's in reverse.
PIAA 1540 are $139.00
The optilux is on blowout for $24.99
You can also install brighter bulbs (more than 55 watt) in the optilux units-

Steve-
We don't carry the high wattage units anymore apparently. They tended to melt the plastic base of the bulb and caused issues. Best course of action is secondary lamps like outlined in my previous post.
