Hello All,
Thanks for the warm welcome all. I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Joe. I have been an experienced auto detailer and vehicle reconditioning specialist for about 25 years. I have a lot of knowledge about buffing, interior & exterior cleaning applications, vinyl/leather dyes etc. I stopped full time detailing and started as a distributor for Malco auto reconditioning products in 1999. I took a great interest in the cleaning chemical business and started manufacturing my own detailing products 7 years ago. It took alot of time, hard work and money, but our formulations, strength and quality of our products exceed many national brand products. We receive no complaints or returns on all of our product line. We have a Auto Detail Supply Store in Largo, Florida. My wife Kellie also processes the internet orders at our store, and gets them shipped out the same day.
Ok, enough about the business stuff. I have two Chevy 3500 Ext. Express vans that are my service vehicles and a family of GM vehicles including an 86 and 87 Corvette. I enjoy interacting on this forum and if I can help anyone out with product questions, detailing or cleaning applications, please feel free to message me or email me at flash1wax@aol.com. Steve is a great guy and I am happy to be part of the GM truck club family.

I have actually used that Atlas Glass Cleaner that you see on your site and I 100% endorse it. The best part about that is that it's safe for window tint, but it still gets rid of the junk ... and the film ... that gets on your windows, plus it's good for plastic and chrome as well.

I'm going to have to get some interior/carpet/leather cleaning stuff and that video clip of the wheel cleaner is pretty impressive.

Hey, I have a question. I need to do some rehab on the paint on my '99 Cavalier but I"m not sure what to do. Basically I just want to see if I can even out the paint and a few scratches with a rubbing compound or something like that.
I'll get some close-up photos, it's a 10 year old Chevy Cavalier with just under 90k miles. I use it to commute back and forth to work, I need something that I can put on during a Saturday afternoon and work it in.
Any suggestions?

Hi Steve,
Does the vehicle still have the clearcoat intact? If it is just oxidized (faded) from the sun, then you can use a compound and then a wax. But if the finish is not severe you can use a one step product called Rejuvenator. Rejuvenator contains kaolin clay which is the cutting agent and a durable polymer wax. It will remove moderate to heavy oxidation, scratches, paint over spray and contaminates from vehicle surfaces.
Rejuvenator also removes oxidation from plastic headlight assemblies. Brings clarity back to the lense. Local Sheriffs office has been using it for five years. Works good on chrome too. It contains a polymer wax so it holds up well against the damaging UV rays of the sun. Carnauba waxes tend to break down at high temperatures. Send over some pics and I will take a look at it. Take care.
