installed a magnaflow side outlet. tried to remove the oem system in one piece,an hour later i went for the sawsall. half hour install and ofcourse it looks & sounds cool, too loud. also stock type K&N. let you know about the mileage later

You probably dont want to hear this after installing that K&N but those can cause drivabilty issues. Particularly with the MAF, and the damage that it can cause is not a warrantiable issue. It covers the hot wire in the MAF with the oil they put on the filter and distorts the sensor readings. If you start to experience hard cold starts in the morning and sometimes rough shifts, likely suspect is the air filter.

PULLED MAF FOUND NOTHING ON IT,AT LEAST YET. CONTACTED K&N THEY ASKED TO SEND IN ANY BAD MAF,THEY WOULD BE GLAD TO CHECK IT
