I would love to go but ill be in upstate NY that week doing some fishing and maybe a little wheeling if i can find some trails while im up there.

Okay I am up for that if I am still layed off by then, I have never been to any of there car shows in Carlisle. How are they, have you been to any of them? The reason I am asking is because I have a 300 mile drive to get there from where I live, tell me honestly if it is worth the drive and can I bring my 05' Silverado to show or is it a set class of years? I would love to take my dad to that for a fun father daughter thing, so if It is all that it looks like it is I will be there with my mini-monster truck!

Amy you will love it there . Friday is the Drag Races ansd Saturday there all kinds of Shows and thing like that . There is a Class for you if you bring the Silverado or you lil truck also . The Silverado SS is in there own class for the last 3 years now . There maybe 20 or so trucks a class . You and your Father are more then welcome to hang out with the Silverado SS tent we get every year .

I haven't been to Carlisle since the early '80s! But I remember it being a great time, the other thing that crossed my mind is it would be a great place for a northeast get-together, any one else up for that? :money:

That is probably where I will be then, and the GTG sounds like some fun. I was also looking at the truck nationals they have in August, that looks like a ton of fun also! Thanks for the info Rock Head, and your SS club looks really cool lot's of black SS trucks too! I have to get started looking for some hotels then, other than around Hershey I am clueless so I better get going on it right away. :great:

I would be up for that :great: Silcerado's and the Silverado SS are next to each anther. I will be with the SilveradoSS.(com) boys but you all more then welcome to hang out with us at the tent .

There is also a truck nationals at Carlisle every year in August for those who do not make it to GM nationals.

i am with a truck club and we will be in the truck show some where does any one thinking of going to bloomesburg truck show its freaking cool there and way bigger than carlisles show
