When I am ready to leave the house (what ever time it may be, morning, afternoon, or night) I try to use the remote starter to cool off my truck, but half of the time I try to start it, it would automatically shut off. Does anyone know why this would happen?

go out there and put the key in the ignition (dont turn it over, just stick it in there) then activate the remote starter and see if that works. if it does, then it is a problem with the imobilizer bypass. it might have lost programing.

May dad had the same problem, he found something in the owners manual to do a guick reset and it cured it for him

I'll look into it. I hope that's all it is.
