man its been a while since i been on here! im so glad to be back!!:biggrin: but of course i have a major problem.:grrrrrr:.
back in feb. my truck broke down and i orginally thought it was my trans but after futher investigation (and the loud grinding noise) i was the transfer case. it makes the noise in reverse and when i put the in drive it stops until it hit the gas. before that happen i though the trans was slipping and then it made this loud noise and starting grinding.
now besides replacing the trans case, what should i look for and what is the socket size for the trans fer case fill plugs so i can check the fluid?
I have a 96 sub with the pushbutton 4wd selector.
