05 tahoe.... Dvd wiring

New to this site. I'm over here from Trailvoy. I'm wanting to add a factory DVD to the rear seats for the kids to watch. They sell on EBAY for about $300.00. My ??? is. Is the wiring harness for the factory located over head? The truck has 6 disc changer and XM w/o nav. OR will I have to go to the DEALER or salvage yard to try and find one OR go the aftermarket way??? After market way is cheaper in some ways..... I sure I'm not the 1st to ask this question........

not sure that there is prewiring but the radio would have to have the correct set-up as they would need dual zone tuning I believe, if there is a second radio in the rear you may have it but not for sure. I know that any GM I have personally sat in that had factory DVD had the secondary radio in the second seat.
