I gotta 1991 k2500 i am going to put on a lift and tires soon i was wondering if 6" of lift and 35"s would that make the tires look small... should i buy new gears to put on 37"s? and what are the best A/T tires (looks and wear) and is skyjacker werth the extra $$ or should i go with a cheaper company like rough country ?

I would go with the Rough Country lift because you cant beat the price and they have really stepped up their game in the last year or two. and 35's and a 6 will look great. you could probably go to 36's even. what gears do you have now? 4.10 im guessing?

They are stock gears so 4:10 I like the sound of 36's do you no what size that is for a 16 inch rim? i no 35's are 315/75r16 and if i was to change the gears whats a good ratio

Take a look at my pics, 6 inch lift on 35s, i think the lift/ tires size is perportioned out well. Im running 4:56 gears , and i always heard BFG all terrains are the best a/t tires out there.

35s or 36s regear to atleast 4.56. 4.10s would be a little on the doggish side here. I run 35s and spin the tires with 4.56s.

It ran me about $450 to get the front and rear axles geared up.Im happy with the 4.56 gear set up if i get on the gas, she will burn tires!
