Hey guys, I am new to owning a truck as of today. I actually pick it up next Monday so...It is a 2001 Chevy S10 4.3L 2wd with about 95,000 on the odometer...Only paid $1500 for it since the guy was heading back to the states. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, I am in the Army and stationed in Germany for now. The truck is an auto and I will upload pics when I get it here to the house. I just sold my 88 Turbo Supra to another soldier and then got this truck so....Please bear with me as I am sure to have a ton of questions for you all since I am going from a high performance car to a pickup.
Welcome to the site and thanks for your service!

Well, there is nothing great about the area I am in. Alot of country side ( which can't be used for offroading :grrrrrr: but, I will be sure to take a few road trips and snap some photos for everyone. Hoping to find someone on here that has an S10 with the lights for the plates in the back. The one on the right side of the plate is missing so...the assembly is just hanging around there. Also, what are some common problems with the S10s? Owner said that the check engine light is on because of one of the emmission sensors is too far from where it is supposed to be? Never heard of that.....
Your all welcome for the service but I know I am not the only one on the site to have either served or still serve so...:great:
Another question for the mods on the site, how can I change the Newbie under my name to something like Soldier or anything like that?
