Hey there, everyone. I'm an old telephone guy, retired, and an old retired US Navy guy. I drive a 98 Silverado K2500 with 105,000 on it, and love the truck. We pull a 5th wheel and have been in some pretty tight situations that the truck pulled us through. I also pull a 22 ft pontoon boat, when not pulling the 5th wheel. I have never had any serious problems with the truck, and it seems to be the utility vehicle for my 5 sons.

Actually I am so totally happy to be a part of this group. The foul-mouthed riff-raff with the immature mindset kind of steer clear. That's quite a nice change. And no one ever gets pelted with insults and/or flamed for asking any sort of question, seemingly beginner or not.
