I have a 1999 chevy 4x4 suburban with over 80,000 miles clocked. The tranie is starting to not like reverse and I am afraid that it may be getting ready to give up the ghost.
I am not going to go to one of the tranie chains for repairs and I am not sure that I trust the dealer.
Where else should I go to get a reliable tranie?
thanks

order a goodwrench and put it in yourself. i know there expensive but other than finding someone who knows what they are doing inside one of these is really going to be hard. i have a friend who does nuthing but trans rebuilds and he wont touch these new overdrives, to many elec. components in side.

Is Goodwrench a brand name or mfg?

so you are saying that the dealer/chevy rebuild is the way to go?
I also have a ford f350 and their rebuilt tranies are not worth the time to install.
