just got evolution programmer

I programmed my tire size and adjusted the gear ratio to 3.73. What would be a good top speed? the default is 98, but i want the best 0-60 time possible.

120 is always a good speed. Do you have 373 gears or your stock gears in because it will mess your stuff up if you do it that way.

my stock gears are 3.42, but i changed them to 3.73 using the programmer

I dont work that way. You have to actually change them on your truck and then you can change the computer to 373 ratio. If you do that it will mess everything up on your truck. Switch it back to stock gear ratio b4 it messes everything up.

I am a little confused on what you did too, Heavy Chevy's right about what he said. If what you meant was you used to have 3.42 and you did a gear swap and now you have 3.73 gears, and you used the programmer to make the adjustment then your fine because that is still under the stock adjustment range. Maybe I just read it wrong, but I am kind of confused.

from what i understand, this guy used the evolution to reprogram the truck to were the truck thinks it has a 3.73 diff ratio, but the guy did not actually do a gear swap in the rear end
