DO NOT BUY THAT EXHAUST TIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My foreman at work had a true dual exhaust setup put on his truck, and he bought those and had them welded on to show his Chevy pride. Well he ended up with a lot of back pressure in his truck, he ended up having them cut off and regular one's welded on. He is not the only one I know that has the same problem with those tips, If you really want them bad Summit Racing has them for $29.99 in stainless steel or $24.99 in chrome. His truck was an 8.1 by the way, maybe it wouldn't be as bad on a 4.8 just passing along what I have seen happen from these.

A lot of ppl where I am from have those tips. I wouldn't put them on my tuck because they are really small and don't look that good on a car IMO.

Nothing against the bow tie but if it don't add horse power, why buy it? Crome looks good but for what?

Looks nice but why would you want to restrict the exhaust?? I think it's more for an application where you're wanting pretty.

they look neat but the back pressure seems like a strong arguement against them. theyd look great on a showcar/truck.

I've always thought they were pretty cool, didn't know about the back pressure issue though. Don't think it would be much of a problem with my 4.3 six.....

I saw those tips at the muffler shop when I got my exhaust done and actually thought about it but decided against it when the guy put them up next to my truck to see how they would look. Decided on the classic rolled tip stainless 3" tube. I think those would look better straight out the back on a dropped silvy though. Especially with a roll pan that had bowtie holes cut in for the pipes to peak through.
