body lift help

I have a 99 chevy silverado 1500 2wd and was wondering where or what i should do about putting a lift on it. Really i only want like a 3 inch lift or so and i aint got that much money to deal with so..... ill take any ideas for yall. thanks

i would suggest either performance accessories or bds suspension, both make good body lifts, i ran a performance accessories 3" body lift on my old 01 and it was great, never had any problems with it, one thing to consider is if u want new bumper brackets, i no some kits dont come standard with the rear bumper brackets, i suggest u get em unless u want that gap between ur bed and rear bumper.and u should be able to run 33s on it with no problem but i wouldnt go any wider than a 8 inch wide rim, u can run a 10 inch but u gonna have to trim some, i paid 300 for my 3"body lift and it came with everything i needed, i dont no how much they are now adays but hope i was able to help ya, post some pics when ya done
