Hello all!

I'm a new member here so please forgive me if this has already been asked! :na:

I have a 1988 Chevy C1500 RC SS that I'm about to get back on the road. I'm currently looking for wheels because lets face it the stock wheels are way too skinny! I'm looking at some Pro Comp 1089's in a 16x10 flavor and want to confirm they will work before I pull the hammer. So what do you guys(gals) think?

Also, what size tire (width) should I get?

TIA

LOL! RTR!

It's not lifted and I don't plan on lifting it. It's going to be more of a hot rod once I'm finished with it.

Just a few more months till football season!!!!!

'09 Champs?!?!? Something tells me Tebow may have an issue with that. Besides if Florida doesn't win it then it's all ours!

I said baseball champs. But I don't think my boys playing in Death Valley have very much of a chance of going to the big game, maybe a bowl game, but they got a lot of green players this year... :frown:

But I can't wait for game time this year, this is my first year living in Baton Rouge, so it aught to be fun!

Anyone else know the answer to the original question? Does anyone know of a site that might have the answers?

Yeah, I've tried both of those before already. I may just stop by a NTB and ask them what they think.

16 x 10 rims should fit fine , the question on tire size would depend on the back spacing of the rims, you could go with some 10.5s fine but if you have any suspension lift i would go with 12.5s. a cheaper route to go if the backspacing isnt enough would be spacers, they can be found on summits site

:lol:Saban can't even walk into La w/o getting something thrown at him! And we got Les Miles, the man with the plan, and a couple back up plans too.

Yeah yeah yeah. This year will be different. We actually have a good QB behind center, not two jokes that don't couldn't cut it in the SEC...

Thanks for the reply Knucklehead. :great:

And for you other yahoos that hijacked my thread talking SEC football :sign0011:
I'm sure LSU will be fine. Way too much talent in LA for them not to be. I fully expect the Tide to get better over the next two or so years and once we reach the plateau we'll be a hard team to beat.
