2005 tahoe

I just traded in my 95 burb for a 05 tahoe. What a difference. However the computer system failed and the truck died while driving. I had it toed to the dealer where I purchesed it and they will fix for free. Minus my aggrevation and headache. Has any one ever heard of this? The vehicle is the ls with the 5.3 and 4x4, toe pkg, rear air and such. thanks

Are you talking about the ECM? I had my ECM die on my 1990 Lumina once, and it cost me $2,000 just for the module so I am sure yours was probably double that so it's good it was covered under the warranty.

i have heard of a dealer standintg behind there warranty before yes..even though its rare and they squirm alot lol...hell now a days all it takes is one key monitoring sensor to fail and that thing will stop dead in its tracks. glad to hear it be taking care of though and may you have many trouble free years with your new ride ...congrats
