Christmas in July!

We've had a huge rear projection T.V. for the past 8 years taking up major chunk of space in the living room, over the past year I've been "shopping" for a flat panel to replace it. I've been in no real hurry since the old one is high def, and basically I'm a tightass! Well yesterday the red bulb went bad and "forced" me to close our Christmas club and purchase a new L.C.D. flat panel and a Blu-Ray DVD player,and I must say I'm glad I finally did!! So today it was out with the old and in with the new......and its Christmas in July!!!!

Very nice! I recently upgraded myself. I had a 37" LG LCD and I up sized to a 47" LG LCD.

The 37" is for sale if anyone is interested! lol

i have bought to Sony bravias in the last 8 months and couldnt be happier, and I tell you what, DELL has some sweet deals on new TVs and home theater. I bought my 42" from them and it was $400 cheaper then Best Buy and free delivery! Yesterday I bought a new home theater system and yes its a Sony Bravia. Again cheaper then Best Buy and they had another Bravia system with the REALLY tiny speakers and was $400 off, and again FREE shipping!

I really wasn't in a hurry to get one either until we needed to fill up our new family room. I built a t.v. stand and bought a 47" LG LCD and a PS3. Absolutely love it and glad I did. Bluray really is better. I was a skeptic until owning one. Grats on the new purchase and Merry Christmas in July.

sweet buy. my old room mate said it hurts to watch any tv other that a flat panel any more. i will be in the market for a new tv after the wedding
