Leveling kits on Ebay are under $100.00, both types available. Put one on my sons 2008 GMC with no problems. No difference I can see from the brand name kits.

I'm also interested on putting a leveling kit on my '97 c1500. I have been looking at the coil spring spacers, wich are under $40. Can someone give me a link, or product name of a good leveling ket?

I dont know of anybody that makes a leveling kit for your year and model (2500) truck. Becareful about putting larger springs up front because you wont be able to aline it. If you look at some of the kits for newer body styles (90-99) they have longer upper control arms to stand the tire and wheel back up as when you put a larger spring on it tilts the wheel and tire beyond the alinment specs. Because your truck is about twenty years old if it has the original front springs Im sure they sagging and worn out. Maybe you could replace them with a pair of Moog or equal heavy duty front springs and this should lift the front some (depending on how worn the springs are).

i ran a spring spacer in mine, the only thing is they a bitch to put in and i just had a shop do it for me, and after that you gotta get an alignment done cuz it s gonna wear downyour tires fastercuz it brings the bottom in more, so if you know any shops you know well and can get a deal thats the best, but its really hard to to on my c1500 95

what does a levelin kit do ?
brings up your front end usually used on 2wd so that the front is same height as 4wd and gives you clearance for bigger tires
