Where is it located and how do I go about removing it? I think it has some leaves or something rattling inside of it. I had this same issue on my Camaro and it was due to leaves in the blower.

Thanks,
Jason

Usually they are behind the glove box area.

If you can't figure out where it is or where how to get to it, go to a wrecking yard and look at similar vehicles. Usually you can find these in various state of disassembly and see how things come apart and what is located where.

Or get a GM Factory Service Manual set for your year/model vehicle, These will give fairly detailed instructions on how to remove things or what to remove to get to something. They are pretty good at showing diagrams of where things are located in the vehicle.

But sometimes the disassembly instructions are lacking pictures and might just say "Remove part xx". And you don't know exactly what they are talking about. Then you can always take your tools to the wrecking yard and try there first.

Passenger side on the firewall, it is accessable from inside the car. I removed my glovebox so I could see and access the screws better. It is possible without doing that. It took me about an hour all said and done. Mine had a hard plastic cover with foam insulation in it covering the blower motor. That was the hardest to get off, wedged between motor and a dash support bar. Good Luck!!

Yeah that's where it is on my silverado, you have to take off the kick panel and I took the glove box off too. Make sure you hook the two wires up correctly(ask me how I know) and the hoses are a pain to get back in.
