Ok i just order a Readylift leveling kit. Some time in the near future(soon as i get the money together) I wanna move up to 33" tires and 17" wheels.
These are the wheels i was looking at:
http://www.jegs.com/p/Cragar/Black-Rock-Viper-Series-900-Wheels/1196580/10002/-1
Now i'm still kinda stupid on the whole backspacing .. etc with wheels so...
Y'all think i could run these rims in a 17" with 285/75/17 (=33.8x11.2/17) without rubbing?
Thanks in advanced.

Looks like those rims come with a 0mm offset for the Silverado application, so they are going to stick out about 1.5 inches more than your stock wheels, so you may have to at least trim the front valance and they may still rub the inner fender. Here's a pic of my truck showing how little room up front our trucks have! 305/50/20 (32.05" tall) with 2.5" Pro-Comp leveling kit, rims are +31mm offset. Hope this helps.

Also, if you are going to have 1.5" of rim/tire sticking out....check your local laws about fender flares....I learned the hard way from Johnny Law.

Yea i was thinking about flares anyway. Idk yet. have to see how they look. I know that my local police won't mess with me too much.. i know most of them.. and most of them really don't care. But i might just throw them on there b/c i do travel to the city everyday for work.
time will tell.
