Can't open 3rd access door

I just replaced the handle on the 3rd access door of my truck... its been broken for about 2 months. I can't seem to get the door to open now. The bottom latch seems like its stuck. I'm probably gonna end up taking the door panel off to see whats going on with it. Anyone have any other suggestions that I can try first?

I replaced my 3rd door handle not too long ago for the SECOND time. I'd suggest removing the third door handle, and use the two (push/pull) rods to open the door. IF the door opens, then your problem is with your new handle and how it was installed.

I had to use a little force... door popped open finally! got it installed and so far so good. Thanks for your help!:great:
