Hi, this is my first post so forgive me any mistakes :) I have few questions about engine in my Tahoe (97'). It's V8 6.5 Turbodiesel. First of all I have EGR issue, I think that the valve might stuck so I would like to clean this or bypass. Could you help me locate this valve? Is it just behind the turbo? Between the cold side of turbo and firewall nearby the hot side of turbine? What should I be conscious making any modifications to the valve?
Motor oil I use is mineral 15w40 Mobil Diesel is that good enough for turbo? I consider using semisynthethic 10w40. Mileage is 275 kkm.
