'burb alternator

tried searching but am feeling retarded today so may i ask what the '96 suburban alternator's rating is please? i know there are stampings somewhere on the body of the unit but it's old and can't seem to find it anywhere. thanks

also, are there any aftermarket high amp replacements? again thanks

Probably 104 amp. Napa has a nice 155 amp unit, or DBElectrical for a monster

You may have a higher one being a suburban, many people ordered the bigger alternator from the factory. You can bring your VIN to the dealership and they can tell you that, it would also say on the original window sticker if it was upgraded
