Looks like the city of College Station, Texas will be -- FORCED -- to put it to a vote. Should the existing (and massively unpopular) Red Light Cameras be declared unenforcable tickets?
Read this site if you are interested in learning more. I support this project 100% AND I agree that Red Lights Cameras are a money-seeking blight on the landscape of every city that they are in, and they should be removed!

I agree, these cameras need to be outlawed. Next thing you know, they'll be putting cameras in your house to make sure that you are not violating any laws. This is 'big brother' at its finest.
These politicians of ours quickly forget who put them there, and are more than open to ways to screw the public.
These red light cameras are a scam to make money.

I'm fairly neutral about this. I try not to speed, and usually make half way decent stops.
But here's an opposing view point. If you were trying to balance the budget in that town, you would think it's a great idea. And if it's problematic intersection (accidents) it would have to help if people would know they're being watched. Reduced accidents, more money saved on Public Safety.

I agree that they should be taken down. My uncle got a ticket in the mail where he had gotten caught by one of those, but he was just going through a yellow and as he was toward the end of the intersection it changed to red and clicked it.
