First post. - I am about 90% sure I'm picking up a '07 Sierra 1500 LTZ, 5.3L, Ext Cab, 4x4, Z71 with 35K miles. Is there anything in particular I need to look out for before purchasing? I worked on these trucks at a GM dealer close to 10 yrs ago, but this is one of the Newer Body Styles with coil spring fronts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site! I'm sure some of the NBS folks will chip in, but I'd like to have one myself so I don't know much about the new ones. Good luck!

I bought an 08 not long ago, had 5300 miles on it. Check the undercarriage for rust. I'm not sure how much is "normal," but on mine it seems pretty rusty. Control arms on the front wheels and spots along the frame where the black rubber paint stuff (lame rust inhibitor I guess) is coming off.

Welcome to the site!!!!!!!!!
You should be 100% sure since it's a GM.

I have had my 08 for just over a year now. No problems other than passenger lock failing. I guess a known problem with the NBS with the electric locks according to the tech a the dealer.
