View Full Version : just a memory - Cobra sold to get a Silverado
I was thinking today while my truck was in the shop getting its damage repaired from the hit and run (*^%&$^%#^$#) I was thinking aout how nice it was outside and missing my Cobra. I thought I would share my video of the Cobra that I sold to get my Silverado. I have no regrets but she was a fun, fast sweet car. Dispite being a FORD on a Chevy site, I'm sure some of you can watch this without too much judgement...
Thanks,
MK

not too bad...for a ford.
Thanks... no it was a 5-speed and non-supercharged but she was fun. I have always been a truck guy and got the car out of a wim... it was fun but very limited on room. I just want my truck to sound good now!
Thanks

had to be hard to let a cobra go, btw cobra didnt come with speed till 2000 with the cobra r
It was hard to let go, however I have had trucks and being without a truck for a while, i found myself lost.
The car was fun but living in a small area everyone knew the car and I could never get enough throttle....
I do miss her sometimes.... but having four girls that have this practice or coaching this team etc... i needed to get back into a truck.

Thats a great video! You can tell how much you loved that car, i am also a big fan of the mustang. Must have hard to let her go but at least you have a bad ass chevy now:)
Thanks shorty, she was a sweet car. I bought her from my neighbor and it never felt like my car... he always would come over and make sure I was doing things right... he was a squared away but the car always felt like his..
I have always had truck and the car was awsome and fun but not practicial for having 4 girls and always needing to run somewhere for sports and such..
I do miss her...
Thanks.

Nice Cobra, I know what you mean about the limited room, I didn't have enough room to put school books in my Trans Am WS6. Much less any people. I love my truck.
But if I did have to get a Ford, it would have to be a 03 Cobra (Terminator) or an 04 Cobra. Both supercharged and would haul some serious @$$ when needed.
