Timing and AC connection?

Hey, just wondering, if my timing is off a little. will that make my truck even more jumpy when the AC is on?

I just replaced my AC and i recently found my distributor loose, so my timings a little off.

Timing is controlled by the ECM. So if the distributor is loose, its possible that the timing was jumping around. Set it to spec and see if it settles down.
