It started last night. October 8th, dumper around 2 inches, which the first inch melted when it hit the ground making the worst driving conditions on the gravel roads. And it's still snowing right now. Temperature got to -17*C last night, or for you american folk, around 1*F.

Here's a few pictures of my truck and from out the window of my house.

Ooops forgot the picture of my truck.

0.7 degree angle towards the rear. How should one fix this? I have my torsion bars as loose as they can almost.

Wow I can't believe you guys already got your first snow, it's cold here in Ohio but not that cold! Btw your truck is looking awesome in that picture, I don't think I would change a thing on it either. As far as the height difference to me it is hardly noticeable, but you could do what the good old boys do and throw a 2x4 on top of the frame rail. :gasp:

All kidding aside maybe you could get a 1" block to put under the rear springs, my truck had the blocks in the back and it rode really smooth almost like stock.

Sure looks cold! We are still getting into the 90s here around San Antonio, Tx. I think the 1" block in back might level it out, but it is looking real good now!

BTW i have a billet bow tie on the way, so i took my old one off, my girlfriend got me one for my birthday but the bolt holes didn't line up. She bought it from a different shop, $67, went to my shop i always go, $37 Chrome Billet Bowtie. Pretty good deal i'm thinking, the bowtie came last week, but when the owner opened the box, he cut a gash in the bowtie, so it has a really big scratch in it a deep one. So she's going to return it, he said he would accept it, because he knows i wouldn't like it. haha

The new headlights and marker lights look great in the truck, I think it's the cleanest look for the front of a truck. The chrome bowtie will also be a nice touch, it's nice to see your not color matching it like everyone else. The spring idea sounds like it would work good, but I bet it will also up your towing capacity as well.

Hmmmmmmmm, IDK, that looks kinda cold.
Its only in the 50's here but I'll take that over the white stuff any day. That stuffs fun to play in for a while but I wouldnt want to have to deal with it every day.
I did a winter over on the Ice Pack years ago that gave me a great appreciation for warmer climates.

We went to the Pumpkin patch today with the family, it was in the 50's here in North Texas. We might see if we can take a trip to the snow for a week or 10 days during the holidays this year, but that's about it for how long I want to stay sub-zero! I lived in Spokane, WA for 7 years and remember it starting to freeze around Halloween and sometimes not unfreeze until nearly March.

We're frozen six months of the year here.

Started getting some snow here in ND a couple of days ago. Nothing sticking yet but it will soon. Hopefully getting my new tires next week.

Hey ippielb

Nice truck. Judging by those pics, you must be from the prairies... We got our first snowfall a few days ago here in Edmonton.

Nice looking lamps, that one check-mark on the list I have for my recently purchased 99 Tahoe. Tires/rims would be the first thing on the list.

Stay warm...

Wow, I don't think I'm ready for winter after seeing your pictures.
It has already snowed here in Utah but it's still in the mountains and hasn't hit the valley yet.

that batch of snow melted, then another blanket fell, and half melted and then we got more, and it half melted, so we're kinda in soup, in the morning it's -2*c (0*C = 32*F) 0*C is when it freezes, and during the day, it's around 4*C. So not the nicest weather.

I want it to snow soo bad! If its going to be cold and crappy I'd rather have snow than nothing, at least make the cold weather worth while. great pics by the way!
