Just curious what type of mileage people are getting on the stock tires on either the Enovy or the Trailblazer. Anyone get 60k plus on them?

I think it all matters on how you drive. My 2002 TB has only 39000 miles on it and the tires are pretty much gone in the center. Speaking of which, I have a nail in the front pass tire that I need to get patched. :)

You'd better get that nail looked at!

I went about 50k in my 2002 before I had to get new rubber. I'm at 15k now and they look brand new.

I've got an '04 with fairly low miles, so I'm not even close to letting you know. My tread is like 90% still.

Do the lower profile tires really kill the mileage? I was thinking about getting some hot rims for summer with a lower profile tire. I can only imagine them getting about 15-20k before biting it.

I think that low profile tires can be made to last. I mean, even pirelli makes some low profiles that are supposed to get like 50K miles. Of course, they make some Z rates tires that are low profile that are supposed to go up to like 190 MPH too.

I Nov. of last year, I put Michelin Cross Terrain radials on it, at 36K.
What a difference. These tires handled better in the snow and rain than the OEM BF Goodrich tires. In addition, they are HR rated, and supposedly good for 60K, we'll see.

Just like any other new vehilce, I have never gotten more than 36K on OEM tires... The OEM BFG on my TB were junk- too soft of rubber.
