Hi everyone,

I'm putting in a new transmission and was wondering as I rotate the flywheel to access the torque convert bolts (I'm usisng a large screw driver to rotate the flywheel) what is the natural movement of the flywheel as viewed from the front of the engine (the access hole is where the starter is).

Thanks,

why kill yourself trying to do it with a screwdriver, when you can rotate it from the crankshaft pulley bolt going in a clockwise direction or "on" direction on your ratchet.

Its not hard to turn the flywheel with a screwdriver and the access hole to get to the torque converter bolts is limited so you actually dont need to rotate it that much to get to each bolt. I'm just wondering if I turn the flywheel the wrong way if that would damage the engine?
