1 L = 0.264 gal

25 us gal = 94.64 Litres (L)

1.404 x 94.64 L = 132.87 cdn

based on a US gal tahoe ....

and right now our dollar is at 1=1 ratio

And I just paid this while heading back to Ontario :)

Sorry, maybe it's Canada that pays for health care with taxes .. you have to pay for it somehow and if it's that expensive the money is coming from somewhere. That's a seperate subject though. :fighting0088::sign0018::sign0023:

Gas is 4.089 her in Hastings, Michigan. Been hearing reports of people using cordless drills and drilling holes in gas tanks to steal the gas. Also gas station drive offs are frequent here and the police are dealing with them severely if caught. Most of our stations in town have cameras vidieo taping the pumps. Doesn't seem to be deterring the thiefs too much. Our sheriff's dept. has added two motorcycles to patrol to cut cost of fuel.

we are at $4.60 as of yesterday, of course that is in the cheep section. All the other places i am seeing about 4.95. scared to look. I drive at least 35 miles a day just to get to work and back. on weekends i drive around 65 miles. it is just going to keep going up.

i saw on the news yesterday, a place in orange county who has their gas 40 cents less that everywhere else. he says he hope to make it up in service. people from los angeles where driving all the way down there just for the gas. i don't get it really, what you save at the pump won't you use just getting back home again?? but he had lines around the block for it.

In Hastings, Mi it's at 4.19. News reporting new highs in crude prices so another round of price increases coming tomorrow. Just think what would happen if Bush would release oil from the reserves he's built up to all time highs. Speculators would be slammed and the petroleum refiners would be shown to be part of the deliberate cause of high prices.

It's still at 3.77/gal here in Hastings, Michigan. I'm about 30 miles from Grand Rapids and it's around 3.70 there. News reports that the stations are keeping price higher to make up for lost profits when gas was 4.19. In the same report, they say most gas station owners now make their profits off their food/party store sales so the gas being slow in dropping doesn't make much sense. I heard Exxon made a new national record profit for the last quarter, more money than any company in United States history.
AND THEY SAY YOU CAN'T GET BLOOD OUT OF A TURNIP. OIL COMPANIES CAN........

Going DOWN DOWN DOWN over here!!!

Didn't help me any though! I gassed up at a local Exxon for $3.959, came to about $115....and then I put the nozzle back on the pump, and it gave me my reciept...I turned around to pop the cap back on and close the door, and the pump went beep-beep-beep and I was like, wtf?

Oh. The price just changed to $3.729

I almost killed someone right then.

Prices in Hastings, Mi. went back up this week. It had gone down to 3.77/gal but it's back up to 3.94/gal this last weekend. Funny how just a report on the news about supply, or world politics, or the U.S. economy raises the price at the pump within a day. Gov't. says no price fixing or collusion on the oil business. Today it's just like Chicago in the 20's but instead of gangsters owning the politicians and judges, it's the big oil and business leaders. Maybe a massive world depression would get prices back in line with reality.

I paid $2.35 down here in GA when I filled up last week, and now I'm hearing a neighboring county has it for $1.99 a gallon.

And OPEC is suppose to vote sometime in the near furture about stopping production on oil until us americans, use up all of the reserve that we built up when gas was $4 a gallon. Go figure, do they not realize people would drive more if gas was $2.00 a gallon or lower??..

Big buisness people are stupid. They dont have common sense and they have too much money to care about how much gas they buy, so my bet is no. They don't understand we'll be buying more gas if it was lower.

I can't beleive gas is at 2.00 over there. It's 2.52 here and i'm mad that it's not lower.

True, money isn't anything that has any meaning to them because they make so much, unlike normal people like us, who work and go to high school or college and has the small jobs that doesn't make hardly any money.... Oh well, maybe they won't pass the bill and gas won't go back up, $2.00 a gallon is pretty awesome right now, especially since I'm going to the mountains next weekend to hang out with some friends..

I paid $2.45 yesterday morning, and it was already down to $2.42 that afternoon. Seems like we're behind the times down here, but I guess it's taking us longer to "catch up" to the lower prices since there aren't as many people to use up the more expensive gas. That may not make sense, but it's the only explanation I can come up with other than gouging, since other places in TX are at or below $2 already.

I'm just curious what other people in the country are paying.

I am outside the country but nonetheless wanted to add my two cents (or should I say two halalah {local currency}). I pay less for gas than bottled water, no joking.

1 liter of gas (95 octane) is 60 halalah and 1.6 liters of water is 2 riyals or 200 halalah.

I felt I was being robbed while visiting there in the states this summer having to fill up a 2000 Explorer at the tune of about $63 at least once a week. Highway robbery. No pun intended.

we have the same scenario here in sweden now .. 1 LITER you can get for 3 digit numbers ( 9.70 SEK ) and that is the cheapest since the start of 2005 BUT now they start to yell about al those E-85 cars here in sweden ,, NOW its CHEAPER to run an E-85 car on regular gas then E-85 ( around 10.00 SEK/l ) So now are they al showing of who they REALLY are .. no ONE gives a damn about the envrioment .. CASH IS KING

( but me on the other hand .. i am running as high combustion in my petrol engines that E-85 is a must .. and i am only in it for the POWER ! ! the next stepp is to aim for a DIESEL engine ( amazing how mutch (INSANE) power you can get out of a diesel these days ..

even another thing ( REALLY OFF TOPIC but now are my fingers running wild *lol* )

one good thing about those crises we got now it that they (goverment) can force the manufactures to produce cleaner engines ,, this E-85 aint the final solution ,, to produce 1 Liter of E-85 it takes the power of 2 liter diesel and when you got the final product DIESEL its mutch moore effetive then E-85 (and when you ad an particle filter they are awsome clean running also

Well, in two days the price jump from 1.779 to 1.999/gal. They say it's because of the Israeli attack. Funny, neither area produces oil and Opec hasn't changed anything because of their squabbling. Guess the big oil and pipeline owners are hurting from the U S economic depression. Good time to gouge some more and drive the economy farther into the abyss.

We are up to paying $1.79 a gallon and Rumored that it's going to go up higher before summer. not complaining though it's not $4.00 a gallon. I hope there's some oversight on that now because there was no sense whatsoever in gas being as high as it was a year ago. I am just happy that at that time i had a good enough job where prices that high weren't as much of an issue as they are now. Prices like that today would kill me. I wouldn't be able to afford to drive to the end of my driveway.

about $1.87 US per gallon , when I purchased gas a few days ago. not bad at all. I would definitely have some problems if it went up, this is my first truck and I'm just now adjusting to 14mpg haha

you guys are going to die when you see what I pay for gas.

Reg unleaded gas here in Ontario sells for 85.9 cents per litre. That means that I pay $3.43 per gallon. If I were to convert canadian dollars to american dollars at today's rate that would mean I pay about $2.66 per gallon. Tell me how that is fair when virtually ALL of ontario's oil comes from the oil refineries located about 45 mins away from me. hmmmm
thats about what we pay here for fuel also,,living in Central Nova Scotia and the refinery is about an hour's drive from here

87 grade gasoling was at 1.829 in Hastings, Michigan on Sunday. It tends to rise on Mondays or Tuesdays now and settle back on the weekends. Sure that will change as the weather switches to spring and summer.
