Can anyone tell me why chevy says I can't put a 3" body lift on my 03 s10 crewcab? I know you can put the 2" lift on but don't know the reason why a 3" is not offered.

It has to do with the steering shaft and the firewall.

Welcome to the club!

I have a 2001 S-10 2wd ext. cab, and I have been seriously looking at Fabtech's 3.5" spindle lift. It has the rear AAL or the blocks and shackles, I know it's not a body lift but it's another option you could check out. It enables you to fit I believe 31" tires with no problems,............AMY :great:

Yeah well I have got some prodding on this site as to why I have a roll bar and no lift kit? So I can't let that go any longer, I must bring it up a little bit but not too much because it is my daily driver. I am going to get a set of Mickey Thompson Baja Claws for it too, I know they are loud as hell but I love the tread design. Next summer should bring in the cash, I am going to have my best friend do the lift kit because I am not mechanically inclined at that particular thing.
