View Full Version : Disconnected red lead at fuse box

I was looking under the hood of my new (well, purchased new) '04 TB EXT, and noticed a red lead wire with a post connection type that clearly connects to a post on the the fuse box (facing the battery) but it is not connected and held back onto the wiring harness with a clip. I hooked it up but can't tell what it does so I left it off.

I'll try and take a picture and post it when I get home, just curious if anyone knows. It's not anything obvious like alarm, PW,PL, etc because EVERYTHING works.

Thanks in advance!

I would be interested in seeing a pic of what you're referring to.

That is used if you completely hook up the trailer tow wiring.

That would make sense.
Which one is it on the 7-wire harness, accessory?
