Anyone have any good pictures of their rides in their natural environment that they want to show off?
Here is one I took of my Suburban last week while I was deer hunting. I got a new camera for Christmas and thought this looked like a good shot.

That website isn't saving it as a .JPG file. There is no extension so it's not showing up. That's pretty bizzard actually. Let me try firefox ... nope. It's something wierd that MSN is doing.
Upload it here and it will work fine if you link to it.

I managed to upload a pic or two once, but I suffer from CRS (can't remember sh*t) so elaborate if you will.

Look at one of the links on my signature "- add a photo to the gallery" Click it and follow the steps.
We're about to move to a MUCH better system, I'll post more about that this weekend. TRUST ME, it will be MUCH easier in a couple of weeks!

Couldn't get my pics to work on here, so here is a link to a few pics of my tahoe. It is a 99' Tahoe, 4 door, Lifted on 35" Bfg A/T's, has a triple shock set up on each side in the front. It's leather, has rear air, anything you can think of that came stock. Also, Chrome Billet grille, clear driving lights, and after market tail lights. 3" cowl hood, light bar on top with 4, 6" Pro Comp lights, Cold Air intake, Flowmaster Dual exhaust, and 3.5" chrome tips. way to many upgrades to list, really not much left on this truck that is stock!

It has to be a photo file format. A slideshow is a flash presentation, can't upload those.

Sometime around 3:00 A.M., 12/30/06 at a convenience store in Socorro, NM.
This pic is only interesting because of the story behind it... We went all the way to Cottonwood, AZ from Grapevine, TX to purchase this 2007 Suburban (it's a long story) just before New Years -- and just before the Great Killer Blizzard of 2006 struck. Like most folks, we had checked the weather in advance, but there was no warning. This was the same storm that buried most of southern Colorado, northern New Mexico and western Kansas.
At around 10:00 p.m. we arrived in Gallup, NM only to discover that I-40 was closed between Albuquerque & Texas. So, we headed south trying to beat the worst of the weather. We drove all night on some of the darkest, loneliest roads I have ever seen. Most of the way, the roads were covered with 1-2" of snow, and only occasionally did we see tracks in the snow or other vehicles -- most of which were snow plows! We had to divert as far south as Carlsbad before we could find an open highway going east in to Texas.
When we left the dealership, the Suburban had 16 miles on the odometer. When we finally got home (22.5 hours later), it had nearly 1,200 miles on it. But it was worth it. We LOVE our new Suburban!

Here's the truck in the snow and ice. She does ok with some weight in the back. Only went into one ditch! Wasn't paying attention to my speed. Life continues...

I'm Chevy-less at the moment, but here are just a couple of the nicer trucks I have built or owned over the years.
I built this one in the late 90's from the ground up starting with a stripped and painted frame.
'86 C10, 3" top chop with an uncut raked windshield, tubbed with a locked 9" moser rear, wilwood brakes, Chisholm suspension, a firebreathing 396, a 700r4 trans (never again), centerline billets. The list goes on and on.
This thing was meticulously built over three years, and was ridiculously fast.

My most recent one was an 87 Suburban Silverado with a 6" lift. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. It wasn't officially for sale, but by the end of the next day, I owned it. This was my cruiser, and tow rig for my wheeling jeep.
After owning it for a few years, I recently sold it and moved on to a new truck.

It's just a matter of time before the bug bites again and I build another one.

Thanks. So far, it's been everything we hoped it would be. We haven't done much towing with it yet, but we will. The 6.0L definitely has some grunt, and a noticable-yet-subtle "just-right" growl.
I'm also pleased to see that it was built here in Texas. I have owned 2 other GM vehicles that were built in the Arlington plant, and they were both very good to me. Here's hoping this one follows the trend!

Some nice looking hardware, there! I realize it's a little off-topic, but can you forward some specs on your XJ? I'm and old Jeeper myself (currently one XJ and one modified CJ), and would be interested to know the particulars.
Where do you do most of your 'wheeling?
