Ok, here is a rundown of what's going on and what is left to do.
Where we are at.
1) The entire website was moved over from the old system to the new system. We used to be on a difficult to operate and maintain postnuke/PNphpBB2 website, now we are in vBulletin. Very nice!
2) All user information was migrated over. However, we lost all of the passwords, so ALL USERS must reset their passwords. This was becuase the old system had a funky encryption system.
3) All of the domians (www.chevysuburbanclub.com (http://www.chevysuburbanclub.com), www.theavalancheclub.com (http://www.theavalancheclub.com), etc) now show a portal for the main site. You CAN login from this portal, however there is still work to do in order to keep you logged into the same domain name. Right now, everyone has to click on a link and be taken to www.gmtruckclub.com (http://www.gmtruckclub.com) in order to read/post messages.
4) All of the message forums were moved around until they are in the current format. I think this format is easy to read and understand and it should work well for all of the users. Contact me if you have any ideas or suggestions.
5) I have to get the style completed. Right now, the style is pretty stock looking, I have some styles and other stuff to dress everything up. I'll get to that tonight/tomorrow hopefully.
6) There are some cool plugin for photo gallery stuff. Let's shoot for next week on all of that stuff.
7) The site costs $$ to run, so I offset by putting up ads. Those will have to be put up pretty soon or my wife will pull the plug on my "hobby" websites. :-)
8) Thanks to everyone for being patient. The result will be well worth it!
